Having run our first course at the new venue, located at North Weald Airfield, we can now confirm that this is by far the best venue for teaching the perfect KNEEDOWN and of course the stylish WHEELIE!
Located just minutes away from the junction of the M25 and the M11, it offers easy access to riders from all over the UK. For overseas visitors, a growing trend, Stanstead Airport is just 1 hour away.
The training site offers us the chance, for the very first time, to offer two Kneedown sessions, plus a Wheelie session in one day!
Visit our main website www.1stopinstruction.com, for further information.

We’ve been asked continuously over the last few years for ‘back-to-back’ courses – for riders who wish to punish themselves with a double dose of kneedown and wheelie training over two days. This is a particularly popular request from individuals travelling from Europe or from the further reaches of the UK, to reduce travel costs.
So we’ve announced a few back-to-back courses for this year
Click HERE to visit our Online Calendar and book Online from the comfort of your own home!
For anyone wishing to attend either of these courses, please book sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment. Both dates are booking up very quickly, due to high demand.
Be warned – you will definitely feel stiff at the end of this course. Might be worth prebooking the next morning off work!

2011 Kneedown Course at North Weald Airfield
Our new venue, easily accessible from anywhere in the UK, saw a fantastic day for all six riders. The weather was dry, but chilly, and the new venue offered excellent facilities for the classroom and practical sessions. Cavell and Pete lead the instruction with Pepsi taking care of the safety presentation and off bike coaching! The dry weather put a smile on everyone’s face, although some of the riders attending were less than confident about their prospects. Ironically, the first guy to get his knee down -before lunch, in fact – had been trying for the last 11 years and described the training techniques as AWESOME’!!!
Another rider described her day as “ Training was perfect, step by step instructions, ideal to learn. I’m really pleased with what I achieved!”

- Come to the experts and get that knee down!

Hi Norman
Thought I might send you some pictures of me on your knee down school. For 30 years I have been riding but not been able to get the knee down. Attended your school and got my first taste of knee down. Now then ………… been to track days in the past and had a good time, Been to a track day after attending knee down very pleased with the results. I have enclosed three photos for you to see what your training can do. You might like to show them to the other guys involved in the day just to let them know what results they are achieving.
Carry on the good work.
All the best to you and the team.

Make sure you buy this month’s ‘Fast Bikes’ Magazine – which has a two-page feature on Kneedown School.

Charlie Oakman arrived at Kneedown School on the 17th June 09 to glorious, hot sunny weather (ideal for magazine photography!). He, and another member of Fast Bikes staff had never got their kneedown, and needed to earn the respect of their co-workers. Neither were particularly confident they’d achieve their goal, but both followed instruction extremely well – meaning that they’d both got their knees down by lunchtime. Later in the afternoon, both achieved some fantastic long slides.
Well done to both, who can now truly claim their magazine’s tagline ‘Truth, Knowledge and Knackered Kneesliders’

We’ve been asked to do a feature for ‘Fast Bikes’ Magazine. Later this month we’ll be teaching Steve and Charlie from ‘Fast Bikes’ how to get their knees down. Steve has been complaining that he’s being teased in the office about not being able to do it, so he’s decided to come to KneeDown School to sort it out once and for all…..
Look out for the feature, which should be in the shops in early August. Pictured below are Steve and Charlie with their bikes.

Continuing our quest to be the very best training school in the country, we have a fantastic Wheelie bike that offers, just like our Kneedown bikes, some unique safety features which not only inspires confidence in riders, but also makes the perfect Wheelie that much easier! The bike has been designed to have many more features than most standard wheelie school motorcycles. It’s also been designed to provide consistent wheelie cut-out regardless of rider weight (most anti-flip devices need adjustment between riders of different weight, to compensate for the different loading on the rear suspension). The Wheelie Bike is also designed with soft cut-out – which helps to avoid hard-landings, and soft mechanical-limit, which avoids jarring at maximum wheelie height. There are no less than 4 wheelie-limiting features to provide maximum protection.
See our ‘Wheelie’ page for further info.
