UK - ClearSkies is the most talked about, but also the least useful. No money left in scheme and due for closure at the end of March...although the administration team is going strong!

France - If an individual fits renewable energy equipment, 40% of the cost can be offset against that individual's tax liability at the end of the year. If the individual does not earn enough to pay tax, then (s)he will receive a cheque for an equivalent sum. This rebate must be applied for and supported with appropriate proof of purchase.
