Environmental Policy

Energy Efficiency:

Our diesel van runs on a mixture of diesel and vegetable oil. We are planning a conversion on the vehicle to run exclusively on vegetable oil, meaning that we can run on 100% renewable energy.

Renewable Power.

Our hot water is heated by solar power and the we have two 2kW wind turbines - one is used to supplement power for our 48v forklift and the other is used to provide supplementary power for our office computers, PDQ machine, etc.

Recycling:

We recycle as much of our packaging as possible. Where possible our products are packaged in cardboard, and we use minimal amounts of polystyrene.

Over the last year we have worked with the wind turbine manufacturer to replace polystyrene packaging with shredded cardboard, which is easier to recycle and more-environmentally friendly.

Packaging:

100% of our goods are sent out either in the manufacturer's original packaging, or in reused-packaging.
